A man was yesterday charged with seriously injuring another man on 17 December last year in Valletta.

Joseph Francis Zammit, 37, from St Julian’s, was charged with seriously injuring Roderick Zammit at 11.20pm on the day in question. He was also charged with breaching the peace.

Before magistrate Antonio Vella, Mr Zammit pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.

Police Inspector Pierre Micallef Grimaud prosecuted while Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Deborah Delceppo appeared for the accused.
