Matthew Asciak won his first match in the ITF World ranking tournament in Zurich.

He beat Devos from Belgium 6/1 6/3. In the second round, however, he lost to Laurenas Grigelis from Lithuania 6/4 6/2.

Better news is that he is in the final of the doubles event. His partner is Alex Bull from England.

Incidentally on the same day he lost to Grigelis, Asciak gained revenge over the Lithuanian by beating him in the doubles. Grigelis’s partner was Dimofte from Rumania.
