Today’s edition of Kick Off will be a special edition which will include a feature with Maltese international Michael Mifsud who recently signed for English side Coventry City.

A TV crew of Melita Sports consisting of journalist and TV producer Peter Paul Gauci and cameraman Massimo Pisani flew to the UK to meet Mifsud for an in-depth interview featuring the new international experience in the Coca Cola Championship.

Michael made his debut with the Sky Blues when coming in as a substitute against Plymouth in a 3-2 defeat for Coventry where the 25 year old had managed to score a brilliant goal. The Maltese stalwart then was given the opportunity to play in the starting line up in a 1-0 win of Coventry over Luton Town.

Kick Off this evening at 7 will give the opportunity to the Maltese fans to get to know more about the new venture of Malta’s prolific scorer and his new life in Coventry.

Kick Off, which won the Award for Best TV Sports Programme 2006 in the Malta TV Awards, is aired on Melita Sports every Sunday at 7pm.
