Festival di Musica da Camera is a professional vocal programme which aims to broaden a singer’s knowledge of Italian song and aria repertoire while improving performance quality.

The programme will be held in Ripatransone, Marche, Italy between the 19 and 30 July and is made up of masterclasses, private coaching and public performances.

Conductor maestro Raffaele Ponti and pianist and vocal coach Isabelle Aubin run the programme while it will also feature guest artists mezzo-soprano Ambra Vespasiani and baritone Ettore Nova.

The Festival di Musica da Camera vocal competition will be launched as part of the programme for the first time this year. The winner, selected among the programme participants, will be given the possibility to appear as guest soloist with one of Maestro Ponti’s United States orchestras for the 2007 and 2008 season.
