Malta’s Under-21 team will be meeting their counterparts from Finland in a friendly international this afternoon. This open gate match is scheduled for the Hibernians FC Ground at Corradino and the kick-off time is 3pm.

Coach Mark Miller is busy with his team’s preparation in friendly matches in view of a possible shortfall in competitive encounters after the changes made in the format of the Under-21 UEFA Championship.

In fact, there are two other friendly matches programmed for next month. The first is an away encounter against Moldova on 23 March, a day before Malta and Moldova are due to face each other in a Euro Qualifier away from home.

Four days later (27.03.07) Malta will conclude their three-match series of friendlies when they meet Sweden in another Under-21 international at the Hibernians Ground, Corradino.
