Michael Caruana, public relations officer of the Cana Movement, has resigned because the movement’s council “had taken a decision that, in his opinion, is discriminatory in his regard”.

During the movement’s last council meeting it was decided that the PRO will no longer be a member of the council. Mr Caruana said the council decided he could retain the post of PRO; however he would not be on the council, as he and his predecessor were in the past.

He said he worked as PRO on a voluntary basis.
