A firm operating under the name of deVere and Partners may be soliciting investment services business from persons in Malta, the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) said yesterday.

The authority warned the public that deVere and Partners is not licensed or authorised to provide investments services in Malta.

Prospective investors should therefore advised to treat any such approach with the utmost caution, it said.

“Accordingly, anyone who transacts with deVere and Partners might not be protected by the local financial services legislative and regulatory framework,” the MFSA said.
