The Union Haddiema Maghqudin yesterday announced that its electoral commission is accepting nominations for the union’s three top posts, candidates for which will be elected at the forthcoming general conference.

The union’s electoral commission is accepting nominations for the posts of president, deputy president and secretary general. The nominations are being accepted until 16 February at 5pm.

The UHM’s 30th general conference is being held on 7 March at the New Dolmen Hotel in Qawra. The nominations must have a proposer and a seconder, and the people nominated, apart from having paid the membership fee according to the union’s statute, must sign a declaration accepting the nomination.
