The dramatic company Teatru Rjal company is promising an enchanting evening of song and dance through its fourth musical concert that will feature excerpts from some of the best-loved musicals.

The Best of the Beasts will be staged at the Catholic Institute in Floriana on 24 February at 7pm and on 25 February at 6.30pm.

The concert will, in fact, feature tracks from musicals which have beasts such as Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.

There will also be excerpts from Notre Dame de Paris and the Phantom of the Opera. Some of the leading singers are taking part, including Ludwig Galea, Lawrence Gray, Mark Tonna, Debbie Scerri, Pamela, and Julie Zahra. The music will be under the direction of Joe Brown. Abigail Brown will direct the choir.

Teatru Rjal, which is marking its 15th anniversary, is again presenting the social comedy Karmena Abdilla, 10 snin wara t-Tieg which was perhaps the comedy which attracted the largest audiences to the Catholic Institute.

Karmena Abdilla, 10 snin wara t-Tieg will be staged at the Catholic Institute on 3 and 4 March with Hector Bruno in one of the leading roles.

Other members of the cast include Joe Attard, Josephine Mahoney, Ronald Briffa, Ina Robinich and Laura Bruno. During this anniversary year, there will be another spectacular concert entitled 15 il-sena fuq il-Palk on Easter Sunday, also at the Catholic Institute.
