I thank Stephen Zerafa, PRO, Water Services Corporation (WSC) for confirming that the WSC took several hours to fix three leaks which I had reported. Imagine water going down the drain for 48 hours! Surely when I reported the leak they did not know whether it was a minor or a major one! Yet it took them 48 hours to repair it! So he was absolutely wrong to conclude that my comments were unfounded. As for their billing periods, I am sending a copy of my bill which clearly shows that it covers a six-month period.

Mr Zerafa’s last paragraph disappointed me because it gave me the impression that only a fool takes the trouble to report a water leak. Maybe he is right after all.
