The Maltese Association of Social Workers in collaboration with the Department of Social Policy and Social Work at the University of Malta, is organising the first Social Work National Conference.

The international speakers for the conference include Professor Malcolm Payne, Professor Gabriel Kiely and Ian Johnston, chief executive officer, British Association of Social Workers. Local social workers, practitioners and academics of high standing will also present papers and run workshops during the conference.

The conference will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Westin Dragonara in St Julian’s.
