The Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice together with the Diocesan Commission for Justice and Peace has announced that Cardinal Renato Martino, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, will be visiting Malta shortly.
During his brief stay, he will deliver two public lectures and give a press conference.
On Friday at 6.30pm, at the University of Malta-Gateway Building (Hall E), he will give a lecture entitled “The Human Person, The Heart of Peace”.
On Saturday at 10am, a second lecture “Peace, violence and religions” will be addressed particularly to young people at St Aloysius’ College Secondary School
Shortly afterwards, at 11.45am, Cardinal Martino will answer questions put by journalists during a press conference that will be held at the St Aloysius’ Sixth Form Complex.
