Norman Hamilton’s flagship programme Bla Agenda, which is broadcast weekly on One TV, has once again been voted the most popular programme on Saturday night.

The latest survey, carried out by the National Statistics Office for the Broadcasting Authority, has classified Bla Agenda as the programme with the highest audience share for Saturday night viewing, out of all local and foreign TV stations at 13.39 per cent.

Norman Hamilton, the veteran broadcaster who apart from executive producing, also presents the programme, expressed his delight at the result of this survey, saying that it was a show of trust and support for his talk show by Maltese and Gozitan viewers.

The survey, carried out over a period of three months, from 1 October to 31 December, interviewed 914 respondents from 68 localities across Malta and Gozo.

Bla Agenda, now in its 12th year of transmission, is the longest running local television show with a winning format that has changed very little over the years.

The result of the BA survey is the third consecutive positive audience response to Norman Hamilton’s talk show in the space of two months. Last November, a Telepage survey confirmed Bla Agenda as being the most viewed Saturday programme on local TV. During the same period, an audience research analysis carried out by Media Warehouse Informa Consultants voted Bla Agenda as the televiewers’ favourite Saturday programme.

This positive result for Bla Agenda also means that it is the second most watched programme on One TV across the whole week, following the drama Gizelle, which peaked at 17.83 per cent.
