Angele Giuliano, head of the Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs in Malta, will be helping to voice the needs of female entrepreneurs in Europe.

She is one of eight board members on the European Association of Women Resource Centres (W.IN.NET Europe), which aims to ensure that society is guided by principles based on knowledge, research, innovation and equality between men and women.

On 29 January, W.IN.NET Europe held its annual general assembly meeting at the headquarters of the Belgian member association, Amazone, in Brussels.

The objective of the W.IN.NET network is to complement existing local and regional cooperation by strengthening inter-regional cooperation in a manner that promotes the role of women in local and regional development by means of the Women Resource Centres (WRCs).

Supporting women’s empowerment and social inclusion, the WRCs are intended to improve Europe’s competitiveness and the drive for regional development in Europe.

The network intends to further provide a stable organisation for the WRCs at a European level, improving the efficiency of technical cooperation with European institutions.
