Archbishop Mgr Paul Cremona OP, will tomorrow begin visiting the 16 parish units in the archdiocese.
Mgr Cremona will start with a visit to the 10th unit, which comprises the Sliema parishes of Jesus of Nazareth, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Saint Gregory and Stella Maris, and the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Balluta, St Julian’s.
The activity will start at 3:30pm as children will meet at Balluta Square. Mgr Cremona will arrive at 3.45pm and will be given a welcome speech in the form of a dialogue between five children. Afterwards, they will all walk towards the Balluta parish church where the priests of the five parishes will be assembled.
Unity moderator Joe Gatt will deliver the welcoming speech at the church. The programme includes prayers, reflections on children and youths, the family, seniors and vocations. Mgr Cremona will deliver an address at 5pm.
