The only three nominations received by the electoral commission for the election for the Union Haddiema Maghqudin's top three positions were from the people who presently occupy the posts.

Gaetano Tanti was nominated for the post of president, Joseph Vella for the post of deputy president and Gejtu Vella for the post of secretary general. Although they are uncontested, an election will still be held in order to confirm their posts.

The elections will be held during the union's general conference on 7 March at the Dolmen Hotel in Qawra.
