A Joint Committee, which includes San Gwann and Msida among its component localities, last week refused an offer and plumped for a higher priced one, it was claimed yesterday.
The offer was for a prosecution legal service for which its previous incumbent, Dr Beppe Fenech Adami, had offered the cheapest rate. However, this was not accepted and a costlier one was chosen instead.
