Some of your readers may have been confused by your article, “Critical of The Times Online revamp”, last Sunday, in which I was quoted, and which started: “So it’s goodbye to the iconic royal crests used by The Times in its newspaper mastheads and hello to, er... lime green branding for the new-look Times Online website.”

Perhaps you should have made it clear that the newspaper referred to is the one normally referred to, at least in Malta, as The Times (London).

And, secondly, that the “iconic royal crests” are still being used in that newspaper’s mastheads – they have disappeared only from the on-line site.
