The Chamber of Advocates has launched its website, www.avukati.org.

The site has two main functions – it allows chamber members to keep in touch with each other and with the chamber through the restricted members’ area and it also allows members of the public to access areas of interest connected with the law in Malta.

ICON Studios Ltd (www.icon.com.mt), working closely with the chamber, has created a state-of-the-art design which implements accessibility standards and methods that ensure that all users, irrespective of special needs or personal restrictions, can make full use of the website.

Dr Robert Mangion, outgoing chamber president, said he was very pleased the initiative was in place and functioning – an achievement for which the outgoing committee had been working for long. He was confident the new website would prove to be of significant benefit to the public in general and to the members of the Chamber of Advocates in particular.
