A 46-year-old from Xewkija suffered serious injuries but was not reported to be in critical condition after falling off a plank on a construction site in Victoria.

The police said that at 2pm a man was taken to Gozo General Hospital after he fell off a plank while working on a construction side. The police said the accident happened at noon.

He was reported to have suffered from serious injuries but was not in a critical condition. Police investigations are still under way.
