Snooker - Tony Drago And Alex Borg in world championship qualifiers

Tony Drago and Alex Borg will again be in action in the forthcoming 888.com world snooker championship qualifiers.

These qualifiers are to be held at Pontin’s, Prestatyn, Wales, between 23 February and 2 March. In these matches, the number of players will go to the Last 48 with the final round being played between 12 and 15 March.

The first round is reserved for the matches involving players not on the tour. This is to be played on Friday and Saturday.

Alex Borg will be first in action next Sunday when he meets Paul Wykes in a second round qualifier. If Borg claims a win, his next opponent in Round 3 will be Rory McLeod.

Tony Drago will enter the fray on Tuesday in a third round match against the winner of the second round qualifier between Liu Song and Dene O’Kane. If Drago is successful, he will move on to meet Adrian Gunnell in the fourth round.

All matches in these rounds will be played over a best of 19 frames.
