New Decimal sets of current Maltese coins

The Central Bank of Malta announced the issue of a new decimal set dated 2007. The set consists of the seven current Maltese coins of the second series (Lm1, 50c, 10c, 5c, 2c, and 1c) as well as a five mils coin of the first series. The coins were struck at the Royal Mint, UK and are being sold in a wallet.

The 2007 set is available for sale at the price of Lm10.50 (e24.46) (VAT included) from the Malta Coin Distribution Centre, Central Bank of Malta, Castille Place, Valletta. Those who purchase this set will receive a token which can be used for the purchase of a set of Maltese euro coins when these are issued by the Central Bank of Malta.
