The Bay Street complex will this weekend host a Mission Fund activity in aid of their Guatemala Project.

Between Saturday and Sunday activities in Bay Street will be held to raise funds for the building of a school in the parish of San Manuel Chaparron where Fr Anton Grech, a Gozitan priest, has been working for the past 10 years.

Saturday’s activity starts at 5:30pm and will include performances by Aldo Busuttil, The She-2s, Corinne Turner and the White Crimson Band.

On Sunday the activities start at 2:30pm with the participation of Rita Pace, Klinsmann Coleiro, J Anvil, Nadine Axisa, Bernice Camilleri, and Priscilla Psaila.

The Mission Fund was set up in 1984 to offer regular financial aid to the many Maltese & Gozitan missions spread in 40 countries. Every year the Mission Fund trains and sends groups of 20 volunteers and a container of aid to work on specific projects requested by the missions.
