The Mon Lung Kung Fu school recently held its grading examinations for students attending regular classes in its Sliema club.

The grading session was held for beginners and advanced students who were examined in the theory and practice of this ancient Chinese Dragon style Martial Art. These exams were conducted by the founder of this style here in Malta, Sifu Charles Gaffiero. He was assisted by Club instructors Noel Gatt, Alan Bickle & Mark Spiteri.

Certificates and Sashes were presented to all the successful students by Sifu Gaffiero at a presentation ceremony during which he expressed words of praise for the high level reached during the grading session.

The following candidates were promoted to a higher grade:

Yellow Sash: Selene Vella, Leanne Vella, Michael Mallia, Yezryl Mallia, James Camilleri, Stephen Fenech, Michael Mishin, Luke Zammit

Orange Sash: Enrico Neidt

Green Sash: Christian Vassallo, Keith Meli, Omar Calleja

Blue Sash: Matthew Mamo, Nevena Aleksic, Teodora Aleksic

Brown Sash: Haithem Laamouz

The club will be accepting beginners to join its Kung Fu classes.

Students 6 years or older are welcome to join.
