DAVID CAMENZULI will be representing Malta at the eight edition of the Mr World pageant being held in Sanya, China on 31 March.

David, who won the title of Mr World Malta last year against 18 other contestants, is expected to battle tough competition from 40 other contestants for the title.

Mr World is not a body building show, but a contest about style, charm and good looks. It will also test the contestants’ spirit with a series of physical and general knowledge tests.

All the contestants will take part in two separate shows – a fashion show where modelling ability and stage presentation are judged, followed by the final show at the Crown Plaza resort Sanya.

The contestants will also have the opportunity to take part in water sports and a talent contest.

The local contest is run by license holders Modelle International Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja who are also the sole licence holders of Miss World Malta.
