The Employment and Training Corporation has been informed of people who are visiting companies and, while falsely claiming to be ETC officials, are requesting certain information on employees and other matters.
The corporation said that when its officials conduct workplace inspections, they identified themselves by presenting an official identity tag.
Employers were requested to report such behaviour to the corporation to enable further investigation.
