Noise Alliance label night tomorrow

Frank Cachia and Edwin Balzan (known as Duo Blank) have recently released their fifth international single release, the second on their own label – Noise Alliance. The EP release is entitled Control and is available on 12 inch vinyl.

Since they started in 1998, the duo has released tracks on their own and on foreign labels while they have also remixed German DJ Toni Rios and local artists such as DJ Owen Jay, Ira Losco, Beangrowers, Scream Daisy and Sigo.

Duo Blank’s material appears on over five local and international compilations and their live performances have seen them performing alongside world renowned DJs and artists such as Sven Vath, Alter Ego, Green Velvet, Mauro Picotto, David Carretta, Richie Hawtin, Marco Bailey and Redhead.

While the duo’s time is now taken up by work and family life, they have tried to remain active thanks to their own record label, Noise Alliance, for which they have secured international distribution both on vinyl and digital media.

The future Noise Alliance release schedule, besides featuring more Duo Blank material, will also include works by local DJs and artists Adrian V and DJ Red and also a track remixed by Belgian DJ-Producer Redhead. To celebrate the current single release and forthcoming Noise Alliance projects and releases, a free entrance event is to be held tomorrow at Eyecon Club in Paceville (from 4pm onwards). This event will feature a special live PA followed by a DJ set by Duo Blank themselves alongside DJs Adrian V, Owen Jay, Daniel Jose and DJ Red.
