It may seem like the oldest story ever told, that of the two lovers torn apart by family feuds, but it has never been as fresh or funny as when told by the comic genius of Buster Keaton.

As part of the ongoing Teatru Manoel and St James Cavalier ‘Silents are Golden’ series, there will be a screening of Keaton’s Our Hospitality on Wednesday, at 8pm in the Courtyard of the Teatru Manoel.

Our Hospitality tells the story of Willie McKay, who unwittingly falls in love with Virginia Canfield, daughter of a rival family. Willie McKay ends up as the guest of the Canfields, whose conservatism forbids them to harm their arch-enemy as long as he is in their house.
