The Archbishop, Mgr Paul Cremona, OP, will during this Lent lead three penitential pilgrimages and another three penitential celebrations.

The first pilgrimage, the traditional Hadd in-Nies pilgrimage, was held at Zabbar last Sunday.

On Friday at 6.30pm, the Archbishop will lead a penitential celebration at Christ the King parish church in Paola. He will also deliver catechism on the parable of the Prodigal Son.

On 9 March at 6.30pm, Mgr Cremona will lead a penitential celebration at the Rotunda in Mosta. The Archbishop will deliver catechism on the passage from the Gospels where Jesus meets the adulteress.

He will also preside the annual pilgrimage at Senglea on 16 March at 6pm, where the statue of the Redeemer will be carried around the streets of the city. Afterwards, Mgr Cremona will say Mass at the Basilica at Senglea.

On Friday 23 March at 6.30pm, Mgr Cremona will lead a penitential celebration at Siggiewi parish church, where he will deliver reflections on Peter’s declaration of love towards Jesus.

On Friday 30 March, Mgr Cremona will lead the procession of Our Lady of Sorrows at Valletta, while on Wednesday 4 April, he will lead a national Via Crucis at Mount Carmel Hospital in Attard.
