Industrial Action lifted

Malta Independent Wednesday, 28 February 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

A dispute between the GWU’s Government and Public Entities Section and the government’s Services Section has been resolved and industrial action withdrawn.

The dispute was in connection with the distribution of jobs at the government’s carpentry garage, where work is in hand in connection with polling booths for next month’s local elections.

The union said that under the agreement reached, a fair distribution of the workload had been ensured.
