Malta’s Diane Borg and Charlene Attard will be in action this morning in the heats for the 60m dash.

Borg, who established a national record with a time of 7.71 seconds recently in London, will be running in heat 1 alongside athletes from Poland, Norway, Great Britain, Russia, Sweden and Greece. All have posted a better seasonal best time than Borg.

Attard will be running in heat 5, along with runners from Finland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Greece, Latvia and Ireland. Attard’s best time is 7.76 seconds and it is inferior to the times clocked by the rest of the field in personal and seasonal bests.
