Malta’s Under 19 and Under 17 sides were handed tough groups on Thursday when the draws for the forthcoming respective Championships was made by UEFA.

In the UEFA U-19 championship, Malta will be playing in Group 13 along with Croatia, Italy and Montenegro.

As for the Under 17 tournament, Malta was drawn in Group 11 together with England, Portugal and Estonia.

In both instance, all the 52 affiliated nations will be taking part, except for the nations which will be organising the finals of the two events.
