It is back, now in its ninth edition, the F1 Forum 2007. Pierre Vella, local F1 correspondent, has once more teamed up to stage this annual F1 event in Malta, which is scheduled for today from 10am at the traditional location - the ballroom of the Westin Dragonara Resort in St. Julian's.
Commenting on the event, Mr Vella said many were those who followed Formula 1 in Malta, both young and not so young. The Internet has helped the sport a lot, together with the local coverage on the media, direct race transmissions and locally staged F1 programmes.
The event begins with a review of last year’s championship, followed by an interesting presentation of the upcoming season, spiced with some unique footage and photos.
This year the Westin Dragonara Resort is organising a special lunch at two of their restaurants to mark the occasion, encouraging all those who will be attending the F1 Forum to make it a date after having enjoyed the morning’s proceedings.
