The band Corkskrew, winners of the Best Band Award at the 2005 BMAs, will be back on the road with a live gig at The Alley, Paceville today at 11pm.

The band’s return coincides with the band’s 10th anniversary. In fact, this year Corkskrew will be celebrating 10 years of music on both the local and international scene.

Over the past years, the band has released over 15 singles and two CD albums, apart from contributing to a number of local and international compilations including the US-based Amplifier magazine, and Band:Union.

The band has also toured Austria and France.

Corkskrew’s gig at The Alley tomorrow will feature a number of new tracks that the band has written over the past months, as well as songs from the band’s two CD albums Micromania and No Ordinary Maybe. www.corkskrew.net.
