The Salesian Theatre in Howard Street, Sliema is again performing a sequel of Peter Coke’s comedy, Autumn Manoeuvres, translated into Maltese by Joe Camilleri, who is also the director. It will be Atturi Salesjani’s second comedy this season and will be staged on 10 and 11 March at 7.30pm and 6.30pm respectively.

Dame Beatrice and her lodgers Nan, Hattie and the Brigadier embark on a series of “operations” to acquire money to purchase a flat for their soon-to-be-homeless friends.

Their complicated but well-planned manoeuvres succeed so well that by the end of the comedy they are well on their way to obtaining a second flat. Dressed as maids and a

butler, they prove they can achieve whatever they want, whenever they want.
