The Sprite Getaway Competition, launched in February by The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd, is being extended – with an additional 200 flight tickets to be won by Sprite consumers.
The company was initially giving participants the chance to win 400 Air Malta scheduled flights over a period of ten weeks. However, the response from consumers has been such that it has decided to review its plans and increase the number of tickets that were won in just a couple of weeks. “The campaign was a real success and the consumers’ response was overwhelming,” said Sales and Marketing manager Martin Agius. “Hundreds of calls are being received every day.”
Sprite consumers, therefore, are being provided with another chance to reveal the lucky numbers underneath the cap liner of the famous soft drink and win one of these extra 200 flight tickets. “Thanks to Air Malta, and to our esteemed clients, we decided to increase the number of winners flying with Sprite Getaway. The ultimate objective remains to satisfy our Sprite consumers,” emphasised The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd general manager Maria Micallef.
The previous system will be retained and the cap holders are likewise invited to call the telephone number printed underneath the cap liner. The same bilingual interactive voice response will guide participants through the process. They will then be asked to key in their ID card number and answer a particular question. Every correct answer will mean another passenger on board!
Telephone calls from fixed lines or mobile phones will again cost 25c each.
