Tonight will be a special night down at Poxx Bar.On the night, Tony Toni’s VIP Party will be bringing together two of the biggest names in vocal House, Emma Lanford and Alexandra Prince.
Singer Emma Lanford is a British singer but her biggest successes have taken place on the European continent, thanks mainly to her collaboration with German producer Mousse T. She rose to prominence as the voice on Mousse T’s 1998 hit single Horny, and followed it up with Fire, Is It Coz I’m Cool and Right About Now. She has also been working on a solo album and collaborating once again with Mousse T on his All Nite Madness album.
Half Brazilian/half German Alexandra Prince is another singer with a characteristic voice. She has found success on the European mainland, and it was her voice that consolidated the runaway international success of Gadjo’s 2005 chart-topping single, So Many Times, a dance floor favourite in most clubs to this day. And by the way, Alexandra didn’t just sing the song, she also wrote it. She has also written songs for Oliver Moldan, DJ Moguai and the Deep Dish label. Alexandra is currently engaged with major House Music producers from all over the world, including Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Syke ‘n Sugarstarr and rising stars Till West & DJ Delicious, in the run-up to her debut solo album. Apart from live PA’s from Lanford and Prince, the VIP night at Poxx Bar, which is in collaboration with Virus Project, will also feature DJ sets from some of Malta’s top names, including Tony T, Marcus Lauri, Giulivo, Owen B and Jeremy T, as well as special guest Daryll D from UK’s Sucasabeats House music label. Entrance is strictly by invitation. For more info, contact Tony Toni on 99463741 or by visiting www.djtonytony.com. The event will be filmed by the VIRUS PROJECT (www.virusproject.com)
