Y4J (Youths for Jesus) will once again be holding Lenten talks for young people. Following last year’s success with their Lenten talks based on the Chronicles of Narnia, which were attended by around 500 youths, this year’s challenge is to face the cross! By taking a closer look at the personalities around the passion of Christ, youths can expect to see different faces they may identify with: the face of failure and the face of betrayal among others, and most important, the face of love, Jesus Himself.
What’s to be expected? Live praise and worship with Y4J’s band, energetic dances, experiences, video clips, great teachings and adoration. These Lenten talks will be held at St. Julian’s parish church from Monday 12 to Saturday, 17 March, from 8 to 9pm.
Fr Ray Toledo will be the speaker on all six days. Archbishop Paul Cremona, OP, will be meeting the youths on one of these evenings. For more details visit www.y4jmalta.com
