The Department of History of Art at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Malta is giving a lecture entitled: Carlo Pisi (1897-1979): an Italian Sculptor in Modern Malta.
The lecture, part of a series of lectures on research, will be delivered by Mr Mark Sagona, MA, and is being held in Gateway Building Hall E on Friday at 3pm. Mr Sagona is a visiting lecturer with the Department of History of Art.
The lecture will highlight the various works produced by this Italian artist for the Maltese islands, and will discuss his local output within the context of changing artistic sensibilities after World War II.
The public is invited to attend.
