Solo Exhibition by expressionist Carmel Bonello

Carmel Bonello is holding an art exhibition at the Heritage Malta Art Gallery in Merchants Street, Valletta.

The Siggiewi-born artist, now residing in Mellieha, is an expressionist who uses different media and themes to create original and personal works of art. He has exhibited his works in solo exhibitions in Malta and also in France and Germany and samples of his work can be found in public and private collections both in Malta and beyond its shores.

Art Pieces, as the exhibition is called, is supported by Bank of Valletta and Valletta Fund Management. The sponsorship was presented by Bank of Valletta Mellieha branch manager George Cassar White during a tour of the artist’s gallery.

Mr Bonello thanked Bank of Valletta and Valletta Fund Management for their support and said that his artworks are produced in various media and focus on different themes such as figures, faces, Maltese villages, horses, abstracts and

sculptures.

The exhibition features around 50 works of art and remains open until 8 April. Opening hours are from 8am to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays.
