The Public Entities Section of the Union Haddiema Maghqudin and the Planning Authority Professionals Union reached an agreement with the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (Mepa) management leading to the unions suspending the directives issued on Monday and the management suspending the performance objectives.
In a joint statement, the unions said an agreement had been reached with the management which now has to propose an alternative set of objectives based on the workers’ job descriptions by no later than 23 March.
Furthermore, the unions said, both parties had also agreed that the new performance objectives and their final assessment will be completed by no later than 9 April.
