St Paul’s Bay Bypass closure

The Malta Transport Authority notifies that in view of road construction works currently underway along the St Paul’s Bay Bypass which are partially being funded by the European Union, the said bypass will be completely closed to vehicular traffic until further notice as from Monday.

Vehicular traffic from the South and Central Areas of Malta are being urged to proceed through Triq Tal-Hemsija, l/o Rabat, Tal-Qlejja Roundabout Junction, l/o Mosta, Triq l-Imgarr, Triq iz-Zebbiegh, Triq Ghajn Tuffieha, Olympic Grove Roundabout, Xemxija.

Alternatively, motorists can proceed through Targa Gap Roundabout, Mosta, Burmarrad Road and St Paul’s Bay Village Centre.

Vehicular traffic from Cirkewwa, Mellieha and Xemxija are being urged to proceed through Triq Ghajn Tuffieha, Triq iz-Zebbiegh, Triq l-Imgarr, Tal-Qlejja Roundabout Junction.

Vehicular traffic from St Paul’s Bay and Bugibba area are being urged to proceed either through Burmarrad Road or through the Salina/Iklin Road (Telgha t’Alla u Ommu).

Access for Tal-Fjuri residents will be permitted solely from the Olympic Grove Roundabout, Xemxija side.

Access for Triq it-Turretta residents will be permitted solely from Erbgha Mwiezeb Roundabout side.
