The Maltese national team is on its way to Melbourne, Australia, to take part in next week’s world championships.

The team comprises Angela Galea, Davina Mangion, Neil Agius and the young and promising Talisa Pace, still a 13-year-old.

They will be joined in Melbourne for this event by Maltese Australian swimmer Madeleine Scerri who will be taking part in the breast stroke. It is the first time that she is representing Malta after showing her willingness to represent the country even in the forthcoming Games for European Small Nations in Monaco next June.
