An art exhibition of watercolours by Alfred Chircop is being organised by Middlesea Valletta Life (MSV) until 13 April.
Speaking about the exhibition, MSV chief executive officer David G. Curmi said: “MSV firmly believes in supporting Maltese art and artists. The company’s offices at Middle Sea House are in fact embellished with works by local talent.”
Chircop’s work has developed remarkably throughout the years, whether figurative or abstract, and he has equally proved his mastery in the variety of techniques and media employed in his drawings, paintings, watercolours, etchings and aquatints, linocuts, pen and wash and monoprints.
The artist has held several one-man exhibitions in Malta and abroad. He has equally participated in numerous collective exhibitions locally and overseas where his work was highly acclaimed by local and foreign critics.
Minister Dr Francis Zammit Dimech opened the watercolours’ exhibition, which will display works never exhibited before.
The exhibition is being held at the Middlesea Group Conference Room, Middle Sea House, Floriana, on weekdays from 9am to 7pm Entrance is free.
