Product Malta Is not being advertised in Scotland

From Mr L. Henwood

I am writing to express how distressed I was after spending one whole month in Glasgow, Scotland enjoying that wonderful city full of greenery, its countryside, historical places and most of all the very friendly people.

The reason I got upset was because there were a lot of advertisements to visit Cyprus and Dubai on buses and at travel agents and none at all to visit Malta.

I know for a fact that the Scottish people love Malta and the Maltese and come here because they love our island. Why doesn’t the tourist board advertise Malta, which is not even advertised in tour operators’ offices. Why?

And other thing, trying to contact Air Malta is a nightmare – I had to send them three e-mails to cancel my flight from Glasgow to Malta and book another flight before I had an answer from the Air Malta London office, which told me that my new flight to Malta was not confirmed and my name was not on the flight list.

This is the service that Air Malta is giving to tourists who like to come to Malta. I had to call my father in Malta to rebook my flight and I was fined Lm20 for doing so.

If we want to get tourists to Malta we must advertise and give customers the service they are entitled to.
