All Parents invited on board the ‘Logos II’ on Saturday

Malta Independent Thursday, 22 March 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Sedqa and the crew of the charity bookshop Logos II are collaborating on yet another activity, this time aimed for parents. All parents are being invited to attend this activity, which will be held on Saturday on board the Logos II between 10am and 12noon. Entrance for this event is free. Childcare services on board will also be available on request.

Parents will be involved in a discussion during which they will share information and experiences on the upbringing of children.

The discussion will be facilitated by the Logos II crew and Sedqa staff.

The presentations to be delivered on Saturday together with the discussion between parents will tackle the parent-child relationship, adolescent issues, issues related to today’s culture, and other challenges of child upbringing.

Those present will also have the opportunity to apply for forthcoming parental skills courses, which are facilitated on a regular basis by Sedqa.

This discussion forum is another activity in the string of educational and entertaining events that Sedqa and the Logos II crew are organising for different target audiences in Malta, from young people to adults, from children to parents.

For more information about Sedqa activities, services and programmes, one may log on to www.sedqa.gov.mt or call Primary Prevention on 2124-4226.
