I refer to an item in Odds & Ends (TMID, 19 March).

While thanking your columnist for commending the Department of Information for the way it kept its website regularly updated during the counting process of the local council elections, I would like to point out that the list of approximate percentages of voters who cast their vote was electronically mailed to media organisations and posted online at 8.43pm on Saturday 10 and not at 10.16am on Monday 12, as stated in the article.

If your columnist actually received it on Monday, it must have possibly been due to a delayed electronic delivery, in which case I invite him/her to contact me so as to look into the matter further with the service providers involved.
