Msida St Joseph Football Club presented a new sponsor in a Press Conference held at Eurosport Complex B’Kara. Earlier this year, the Club concluded an agreement with General Soft Drinks Company Limited whereby the latter, will be providing the Club with some of its products for the rest of the current season, namely POWERADE products.

The Club thanked the Management of General Soft Drinks Company Limited for this initiative and thanked its main sponsor Volksbank and technical sponsor Eurosport for having provided the Club with the necessary support during the past 2 to 3 years. The Club sustains that it is only with the help of what the Club considers these business partners, that the Club can operate on a sustainable basis and at the same time reach satisfactory results in the field of play.

The Club also took the opportunity to welcome again with great pleasure the participation of the media in local football. It is understandable that without media coverage, the possibility of attracting important business partners to the local football arena is remote. At the end of the day, when disputes such as the one that had arisen at the beginning of this season occur, Clubs definitely bear the biggest part of the damage with a big detriment to the sport itself.

Notwithstanding all this, one cannot but praise and sincerely thank all the current sponsors of the Club that despite the lack of media coverage, their continued support was always forthcoming in the best interest of the sport and community at large.
