Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook

Malta Independent Saturday, 24 March 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Aimed at those who get out of the office to work, the lightweight, tiny Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook P laptop has a sharp 10.6” display and wireless networking. Unlike other ultra-portable laptops, Fujitsu-Siemens have somehow crammed nearly every feature you’d expect on a normal laptop into this incredibly small chassis. This laptop has everything you could need, but it all comes in an incredibly small, light case with an amazing 7.5 hour battery life and with a warranty pack of 2 years upgradeable to 3 Years. The battery pack can also be extended to 11 hours.

Considering its weight, you’ll find a dual-format DVD rewriter, so you can watch DVDs whenever and wherever you want, stereo speakers, a 4-in-1 card reader and a DVD drive as well as a whole host of connections like USB, Firewire, VGA and TV-out.

Security is proving a popular choice for corporate machines and the P7120 is no different.

The Biometric fingerprint scanner is backed by the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security chip, which can store token and password information independent of the hard drive, making for a more secure system. The P7120 uses an ultra-low voltage processor, an Intel Pentium M 753 and is fitted with a 60GB hard drive.

This gives enough space for storing your media – plenty of room for MP3’s as well as work files.

The Lifebook P7120 is yet another excellent ultra portable machine from Fujitsu-Siemens which offers a wide range of features, good battery life and considering its size a very attractive price … and by the way, it only weighs 1.2 Kgs
