Qualitex 2007: Showcasing Malta’s Excellence

Malta Independent Sunday, 25 March 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Our country is changing – we are now reaping the fruits of our nation’s efforts of the past few years. Malta is becoming a credible and consistent magnet for high-quality investment. We are recognised as viable partners to investors of world-renown such as HSBC, Dubai Internet City, De La Rue, Microsoft and other global players. This also means that we are becoming more conscious of Quality, an attribute that is more expected of us.

Quality is a reflection of the standards we have reached. It is the Quality leap of our economy and the Quality of our lives. Excellent investment and economic growth depends on sustainable environment, high standard of medical care, world-class education, a reliable infrastructure and a dynamic regulatory framework. It demands our full awareness of safety considerations and efforts to ensure that our productivity’s burden on the environment is not just eased but rather becomes a positive contribution to it. We have made great strides on all these fronts and this is experienced in the everyday life of every Maltese citizen.

“Qualitex 2007” Exhibition & Conference will be a showcase of the transformations experienced by our country and will point the way ahead.

Casapinta Design Group in partnership with the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre Ltd is proud to present the “Qualitex 2007” Exhibition and Conference – The Quality of Life Show being held at the new convention centre in Ta’ Qali between 17 and 20 May.

The exhibition and the conference – supported by the Ministry for Investment, Industry and IT – is the first exhibition to be held at the convention centre and will bring together all those who hold a stake in Malta’s future – all those whose contribution can continue to lead Malta’s transformation into a regional model of excellence in quality of life for its people.

The event promises to be an occasion to reflect on what has been achieved so far, but also to home in on our weaknesses: what we need to work for as a nation to reach the high objectives we have set ourselves.

The conference with the theme – “Quality Excellence” will be addressed by local and foreign speakers of repute and will be held at the convention centre on Friday 18 May – details for registration will follow shortly.
